We started off in the UK as the original producers of Indian sweets, desserts and savouries under the Royal brand and today, we are the leading producers in varied markets. The Royal range of products now includes Royal Sweets, Royal Chutnies, Royal Pickles, Royal Savouries, Royal Cooking Sauces, Royal Kulfi & Ice Creams & Ready Meals under the “Bombay Foods” brand.

Royal has been a well known name within the Asian Community in the UK for several years with many of its products being highly acclaimed. The Royal Rassomalai is one of them and was voted amongst the top 10 dairy products in the UK by the Independent Newspaper. The Bombay Mix was given its generic name by us in the 1970’s and we were also responsible for introducing the Indian Ice-cream – the Kulfi to the UK.

Since the beginning, Royal has been recognized as a premium brand and quality has been at the forefront of our thinking. Our goal is to ensure that our customers get an excellent authentic product, every time. We use authentic ingredients of the finest quality sourced from approved suppliers who conform to our rigid standards.

We have made major investment in infrastructure and production facilities in Southall. In each of the manufacturing plants raw ingredients and cooked foods are kept separate; production staff are also segregated. To avoid any risk of cross contamination between raw and cooked foods, each processing area has its own high/low risk hygiene, drainage and production regime.

We are approved to BRC standards and have an in-house laboratory for Product Quality testing. All of our staff is trained in food hygiene and have a strong commitment to the business which is demonstrated to low staff turnover. The high technology production facilities use special processes developed by our chefs many years ago - these authentic methods are transformed into the recipes and tastes enjoyed by discering communities throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.

 Bombay Halwa Limited has sponsored a police vehicle to make our neighbourhood a safer place to live. We went through the Income Generation Scheme working closely with Inspector Robert Bryan who is in charge of the process in Ealing Borough. We have sponsored a Smart car which will be utilised by the Southall Safer Neighbourhood teams and will benefit the community by increasing the mobility of the officers. Superintendent Ian Jenkins, Inspector Robert Bryan and other members of his team came into Bombay Halwa to collect the vehicle.

Sir Gulam Noon, Chairman of Bombay Halwa Ltd said "I am delighted to be a part of this scheme for the second time and feel by sponsoring this Police vehicle, we will help the surrounding communities and my employees feel safer.
